Man Alive! group visit to Kirkcudbright Dark Space Planetarium

The DBC men’s group and their friends have an opportunity to visit the Kirkcudbright Dark Space Planetarium. One of the presenters at the centre will give us a tour of the September night sky before taking us from Earth to visit other planets in our solar system. There will be time for questions and this session will last around 35 minutes. Following this we will view a 25 minute planetarium dome film looking at previous Apollo missions. There will be a little time after this to explore the exhibits should this be of interest. 

Meet at DBCC at 6.45pm to car share and travel to Kircudbright for 8pm. We anticipate being back at the church centre by 10.00pm. The cost for the evening is £10, payable at the door. Our group has exclusive use of the facility on this evening. There is a maximum capacity of around 30, so please book your place on the sheet at church or let the office know.
