Bethany Christian Trust
Bethany Christian Trust supports over 7,000 people across Scotland. They are passionate about transforming lives. The services focus on preventing homelessness as well as alleviating the suffering of people who are homeless. They provide tailored visiting support and community development. They also support individuals and families to help them address long-standing issues including social isolation, unemployment and drug and alcohol addiction.
Why does Dumfries Baptist Church support Bethany Christian Trust?
DBC and other local churches took the initiative to set up Bethany Supported Housing and Drop-Ins in Dumfries. Eleanor Moss, one of our church members, was a Support Worker with Bethany for 15 years, while others from the DBC family volunteer in the Whitesands and Free Church Bethany Drop-Ins.
